I haven't been able to get past an episode or two of any series in years but have watched all of Gotham so far and will continue to do so. It's actually not much more than a cop show at heart and initially it appeared they were going to introduce too many people too quickly but so far, it's enjoyable.

That was my fear as well, but they've been doing a good job.

Good show, and I always liked the stories that had Alfred being a big part of Bruce's training. The Nolan fans make some with short attention spans think Bruce started as an adult, where as he started as soon as the tears dried.

Not now. Though I like the show, they don't need Harvey Dent in it. Every villain is going to be twenty something years older than Bruce Wayne. They could have easily had a string of good guy DAs who all got killed or something of that nature.

The Penguin really is fantastic though.

Best over the airwaves network show on TV. Fucking RAWKS!

I like Dent in the show so far!

Looks like Bruce might get his fingers stinky soon if he plays things right?

It's too fast, especially showing his anger so early in the show. It's like they want to have every character introduced and developed by the end of this season.

It's the only thing that I'm complaining about.

Oh, I hope the Penguin gets to kill Will Smith's wife.

I can see the too fast angle.

I am so with you on the Penguin killing that bitch. I'd like to see him fuck her ass and slit her throat as he gets off!

that would elevate him to Joker level!

You guys are becoming fast friends!

I take back what I said about the childishness of television dramas.

I've been mostly watching it via on demand via Time Warner Primetime. Judging by the commercials there (which differ from the broadcast version), the target audience of the show is limp dicked middle aged men in desperate need of Cialis to bang their hot MILFy wives.

Still, it's a great show! #-o

What is this mid-season break that Yank TV has? They have a finale them come back and have another finale a few months later?

Being that Darf is no longer with us, I need to have somebody else step up to help me keep this thread alive.

Okay.

Hey Lenny, do you watch this show? What do you think about the whole Batman thing?

My main query is...why is her name "Fish"...that's not a good nickname for a lady.

COWARDICE! Sending Fish walking off to appear "later" is terrible screenwriting. They had the torture scene set up fine. Aside from that, Penguin could have taken her out when she returned to her old club.

Darf would agree with this. This I am certain of.

The season premiere did not disappoint.

Well our boy Penguin took care of Fish pretty good. Still wanted the violent rape scene with one of the few dark ladies I'd crossover for but they don't write for Darth!

The premier was good. I liked seeing Gordon have to do bad. I wonder how they are going to go from Barbara being crime lord snatch and headfucked to Jim’s wife and mother of his kid's? Shit especially since in real life he is banging his costar, the hot chick from Firefly and she's now carrying his baby. " You are not doing any fuck scenes with that blonde cunt, Ben!"

Bruce and Alfred, loved the way they did that. Love how the boy went apeshit mad and Al decided if the kid is going to play with bombs, he might as well show the boy how it's done. ( I loved how the code was "Bruce") and this whole thing about his father adds another dimension to this show. It's the boy's training that most interested me but that goes back to when I was a kid, any movie, comic, cartoon ect with the hero training himself to be better than he is was a huge inspiration when I was a wheezing, skinny four eyed kid. One 2 minute scene would sustain my own escapades with logs, heavy bags and weights for weeks ( along with not wanting to be weak)

I also like how Alfred is going to be more and more on the same page. I think the idea that his first mentor is an SAS vet makes for a badass Batman in the futre and maybe one more in line with the real orignal, who was not above killing an enemy, especially if they pulled a gun on him.

I do not want this show to skip ahead an d have him fully as Bat man, I want them to stick to the plan that this is Gotham before the Dark Knight instilled fear in the criminals of the city. Yes I want to see a teen Bruce gwet out and crack some skulls, but not as the full Dark Knight, I want them to stick with the story that he took about 8-9 years after college to sharpen his skills, gain new ones and figure it all out.

Barbara Gordon was/will be Jim's daughter, not his wife.

But that's not less weird. Who would name their daughter after the craziest chick they ever dated?

Never mind. I forgot that his wife and daughter were both named Barbara.
