Low Carb High Fat Running

Has anybody seen this? US$47 is a bit much for an interview with a guy who is all over the Internet for free and a list of carb content that you could also get anywhere for free but I am interested in what is in the e-book. It screams scam in the Internet guru sort of way but when that guru is Tim Noakes, I am willing to be a bit more tolerant than usual.

Did you read Phinney's low carb performance book? I can send it to you if you haven't. This idea is not quite realized yet from what I've seen...most people train low and then carb up and stay carbed for their races and it's not considered a standard or best practice

IMO this is an ebook of opportunity, and I expect you'd be very disappointed in the content.

Yeah, I have it on PDF and thought it was quite well-rounded.

Noakes has said that using carbs in a competition will have zero health effect. Of course, his definition of 'carbing up' is 200g the day before.

Yeah, I know that though figured that somebody (probably you) had bought it anyway.

Zach Bitter does something like this, I think. Taking a guess because I haven't clicked the link and I'm on my phone, but guessing similar to optimized fat metabolism or mobilization or whatever it's called.

Those dudes who make the amino acid supplement out of crickets are big on it I think.

It sounds miserable to me. I don't think I'd ever go low carb again.

Is that you in the dirty overalls? Turn down the contrast on your webcam. I'm getting harsh reflections off your teeth.

I'm back.

Just had to make it look like I was working for a few hours.

Proto's mother walked in on him "using" his webcam and pulled his internet privileges for the rest of the night.
