Elite Fitness Bench Press and Squat/Deadlift Index DVDs

The videos are excellent. Granted there is nothing really new on them, but the detail in which Jim goes over the exercises is far better than the Westside Videos and the Elite Seminar videos. These DVDs do not show you how to put together a workout (the seminar videos are the way to go for this). The nice thing about these DvDs is that for each exercise they go over ever little detail (the little stuff that usually makes teh big difference) and only show a few reps (as opposed to watching an entire workout like the WSB videos). These videos are more "to the point".
In the bench DVD Jim and Kevin start out going over the two main PL types of bench Metal Militia big arch style, and flat back feet forward straight line WSB style. They give great tips on set up, unracking the bar, tension techniques etc... Then they go over max effort lifts (reverse band, incline, floor, chains, bands, boards, etc) then supplementary lifts (extensions and JM's) then lats/back, delts, etc...
In the squat/deadlift DVD it opens with some INCREDIBLE meet squats and deads by the likes of Chuck V, Paul Childress, Andy Bolton, and Travis Mash. Incredibly motivating and makes you want to hit the gym. Great stuff! Then, Jim and JL go over the box squat and various max effort lifts (manta ray, cambered bar, safety squat bar, etc), then the deadlift Jim and kevin go over both conv and sumo, then the Max effort variations from pins, reverse bands, off blocks, etc.) Supplementary and accessory exercises are next, GHR, 45 degrees, rev hypers, pullthroughs, RDLs, abs, grip work etc... The video ends with a massive 700lb 1-board bench press by Dave Tate, probably doesn't count though, he was wearing a 2-Ply Metal Viking shirt and wrist wraps, we all know the shirt does ALL the lifting....
The price is a little high for the quality, but they actually explain things a little better than just "Because the Party says so." I recommend them highly as great insturctional aids to reinforce proper PL techniques, athletes would benefit too.
Due to the lack of cleans, snatches and Oly lifts, homos and non-benchers will not get a whole lot out of these videos.
Just my $0.02, but check em' out!
