Drove down to Vicksburg from Memphis via back roads, enjoying the ambience of delta country. Lots of EBT signs and holy crap I never knew pork rinds and pork byproducts were so popular in convenience stores.
Vicksburg National Military Park is a worthy site to visit, and sobering. One small nuke could have resolved that standoff. I'm ahead of my time.
