Andy Serkis’ Tolkien
Hey bitches. Andy Serkis (who voiced Golum in the LOTR and Hobbit movies) did the audiobook version of the Hobbit, LOTR series, and I believe the prequels. Just finished the hobbit and it was incredible. Golum is his best voice but he does a great job with the others, especially Smaug. The Hobbit is free with an audible subscription, and I believe the others are too. Might be available with a Spotify subscription too.

The Hobbit is one of my favorite books. Thanks for the rec!
In other Lord of the Rings discussion, I binged the entire extended edition over 3.5 days a few weeks ago. Watching them as they came out didn't do much for me. It was like reading a third of a book, taking a year break, then starting the next chapter. But watching them back-to-back made me think it was just one bad-ass 10 hour movie.
