I guess I don't know very much about religion. I always thought there were three Supremes:

Sucks as a sacrament. You gotta go all Transubstantiation on this kinda shit.
Try eating some of the embers to see. Before they cool as a sign of faith.

Questions on the Path:

1. Do I have to eat any special diet?
2. Can I have sex?
A. With whom?
B. With myself?
3. Are there any special garments I must wear?
4. Do you have a secret handshake?

Why so many questions about the path when you don't yet know what the path is or where it leads? The first lesson is regulative principles, A comes before B. You are getting ahead of yourself. The spiritual world is waiting for you and all you want to know are rules?

I firmly believe Mars (and space in general) will be settled by a religious sect. It's an irrational act that will take a shit-ton of money and a willingness to die to get there.

Fatty, start that religion.

Yes, of course; you must have read my e-book, Easy Journey to Other Planets. But it is important to understand that select people are already traveling to other planets.

Our teaching is not material. In material matters, time and place are important factors to be considered. However, this teaching is transcendental, coming as it is from the divine energy and not the material energy. This is an important point: in fact there are three energies which compose the totality of things. They are (i) the conditioned material energy, (ii) the eternal divine energy, and (iii) the marginal energy which are the living entities, which have both material and divine properties (i.e., body and soul). So, as I was saying, this teaching is of the eternal, divine energy, and is transcendental to time and space. Thus, what I teach is true both on this planet and other planets, and this is all agreed upon by the ancient prophets and yogis. What we are teaching is for the benefit of people here on this planet, and for other planets, as all are afflicted by the bewildering agency of the material energy. We can confirm this by reference to all bonafide scriptures and science, whether Bible or Bhagavad-gita, it really doesn't matter.

I used to work construction with a guy who looked a lot like Gallagher. Whenever a pretty young thing would pass our job site, he would say, "I'd like to give her a shot of the Supreme Cream from Uncle Baldy"

This put the word Supreme in a very poor light for me.

He also said, "She's got a nice Cutter" all the time.

Are you drunk? Or having a stroke? Perhaps drinking less would be a good place to start? Please clarify your questions.

Sorry. I meant to say: will I find the answers if I look deeply into myself?

Or must I seek a Teacher?

And do I have to stop drinking?

Though I am but a seeker, I am not deaf to nuance. Frankly I have had enough of soul deadening Puritanism from my former bullshit religions. Hypocrisy abouts in the whoring preacher, the whiskey priest. I fear your bullshit religion is but a toilet stop on the path to the One True Bullshit Religion.

Serious question: have you had another fall on the toilet? Because your posts are totally illegible.

And, that my dear Cat, is the problem. You can make people think you are god, but those same people, when disaffected, will call you the devil. And they will campaign vigorously against you.

You see, in the bullshit religion arena, those who are disaffected see their former guru as a devil. (As a journalist, that's the way I worked my way into various cults. Journalists find the person who is pissed off. Journalism 101. )

So, in our game of founding your new bullshit religion, the first disciple quickly began an antagonist.

I'm afraid you suck as a guru.

It's easier than you think. Go slow and sound out all the words.

Well this thread got uncomfortable in a hurry. I thought Kumare was really good. Kumare became a guru, whether he will admit to it or not. (Religious upbringing, religious studies in school, sought out and learned from teachers both here and in India, etc..)
