I liked STP a lot more than I ever expected to. Those DeLeo brothers are solid musicians, Weiland was a great fit for that sound, and Interstate Love Song is one of the great rock songs of the last 20-25 years.

Saw Bob again, this time a solo electric at the Sinclair in Cambridge. He played 9 songs that he is taking into the studio with his band next year. They are really, really good and will sound incredible with a full band. Looking forward to it.

Art was really riding the perfect storm for a while back right before Y2K and then on into 9/11..he still had his fastball, people were varying degrees of freaked out and he was selling those wind up radios. Very good radio if you happened to be up from 1-5 AM here in the East Coast.

I did like the Rick Rubin interview, mostly because I would listen to Rick Rubin talk for hours. I did not know Phil Maffetone lived with Mr. Rubin for a few years.
