Finally busted the move and bought the complete set from itunes. Unreal. This has always been my favorite music - early 70s Miles with Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Kieth Jarrett, Mahavishnu John, Sonny Sharrock, Mtume and unreal percussion. Impossible to say if this "better" then In a Silent Way, Live - Evil, Pangea etc...but to hear them "thinking" through these tracks is incredible. Worth every penny and way more.
Unfortunetly this thread hasn't been picked up too succesfully by the youngsters in jazz. The closest thing is really some of the post rock stuff.
