An extremely low-budget horror film. Very cheaply shot in Philly, and it shows: grainy, muddy film and not-so-hot sound. The story has some problems, some things are not as well-explicated as they could be, but it's an excellent example of what can be done with little $ and a decent talent.
Quick synopsis: Jeffrey sees dead people, and as a result has spent time in mental institutions. He runs into a young woman who also sees "them," and they bond. Then she drops out of sight the night he's beaten nearly to death, and he goes looking for her. Well, after he wakes up out of his year-long coma, that is.
Too, too many times, "cheap horror" means that some gorehound who owns an entire set of "Fangoria" back issues decides he's a director, throws blood and latex prostheses at the camera and hopes that something sticks. Here there is actually a story and a mystery that unravels throughout the film.
A few shocks, a little blood, some genuinely creepy-ass dead folks, and enough story to keep you going. Just don't expect polish.

The flesh is weak, and the smell of pussy is strong like a muthafucka.
