I absolutely loved and enjoyed every minute of this book. Basically, a comic that has been novelized, and as a long time comic fan I found this was just brilliant.
Where it shines is taking common comic conventions, and adding things like interior dialogue, background motivations, and the everyday consequences of having these super powers. There is just something hilarious reading lines like "the time I kidnapped the pope."
A great line in the book - "there is a fine line between super power and debilitating disease."
The book centers around two characters - the first and by far more entertaining is Dr. Impossible, the smartest man in the world. The second is Fatale, a female cyborg who is new to the Champions, the super hero group. The plot obviously revolves around Dr. Impossible attempting to take over the world (again.)
If you are a fan of super hero comics, etc., then you will just love this book.
