I honestly don't know whether I should donate or not -- my first two posts got disapproved for posting stuff I didn't post. If the forum doesn't work, why support it? Serious question.

The forum works fine, you are a very fresh account, and you are in a different spam sensitivity category than the regulars.

Honestly, I don't give two flying fucks if you donate or not. I am supporting the forum since 2009, pro bono, and the guy before me another three or four years.

So far we have received seven donations, for $200, $300, $150, $50, $25, $65, $100 for a total of $890.

But see, that's the kind of response that leads me to rethink donating. Plus there have been other fundraising rounds and other people (myself included, admittedly only once for $20 or something) kicking in, to the tune of hundreds at a time in some cases, So to say that you are supporting it, while there is truthiness there, seems dismissive of other people who have spent thousands over the years (sup syaigh ).

This is a common problem with administration: one person does all the work and becomes resentful. He then gets increasingly angry and unresponsive, and when anyone questions anything, the response, if there is one at all, is to, well ...

Here is one more time in English: if you believe that IGX has value, and you want to see it sticking around, you can donate. If you don't, don't donate. Historically, less than 25 people (max) donate, out of 2400 people registered and about 60,000 unique visitors a month.

Mario, I'm a big fan of this place and much respect to you for your haphazard and occasional maintenance as you pursue gyros and rice crispy treats while all of our personal information is compromised.
