I just landed a sweeeettt graduate position at one of the top asset consultancy firms in the world. I'm currently finishing my second year of uni, and after spending the last five months writing probably 60+ job applications, and attending over 20 interviews, I finally landed a position with the company I wanted most.

I'll spend a year working with them in between my second and third year of uni, (so starting this september), and then I'll do my final year, and provided I pass the degree, I get a graduate job offer. Given todays job climate, this is like the biggest weight ever has been lifted off my chest.

I don't want to say anything about the firm at the moment obviously, but I'll be working for them as a Project Manager, particularly focusing on their construction side of the business. Out of 11,000 applicants, they interviewed 6 people, including another person on my course, and out of those 6, I was given the position. I'm excited, nervous and incredibly grateful to whoevers up there looking out for me.

Have a beer on me tonight. If I ever meet you fuckers I'll pay for the beer.
