Interesting. Positive thinking is awesome, positive thinking without any awareness of reality is delusional.

Not being controlled by your fantasies and dwelling in a place other than here isn't the same as negative thinking.
According to research by the psychologist Gabriele Oettingen and her colleagues, visualizing a successful outcome, under certain conditions, can make people less likely to achieve it.
