People have a hard time letting go of things.
BTW- you just reminded me I have a bag load of kittens I need to throw in the nearest river.

Baruch 6:21 - Owls, and swallows, and other birds fly upon their bodies, and upon their heads, and cats in like manner.

Not gonna lie, makes me a little shaky. I love dogs. Mine just turned 16, in case you cold hearted dickwads were wondering.

That's the second time I've heard that said or seen that written today.

Yeah, I lost my dog last month. It's a real kick in the nuts.
Wait a sec, I've just got something in my eye.

Makes me pine for having a dog again. I don't feel right getting the kind of dog I want (lab mix) while I'm living in apartments though. I want it to be able go out the back door and have a yard of its own rather than waiting for me to walk it.
Childhood dog made it to 16 before arthritis and other problems made putting him to sleep the right choice. Bear was half-Lab and half-Chow, came to us after being abused as a puppy (shithead adopted him, then stuck him in a closet for a week or two the first time he shit on the floor - got rescued again by a woman who stopped at his house). Best guard dog ever - big, scary black dog that hated men aside from my dad, brother and me.

This sucks. We lost our old chow chow a few months ago. Her arthritis had gotten too severe for the pain meds to handle. I had been putting off the decision because I didn't want my wife to lose her dog while going through the peripartum hormonal roller coaster. But then our old girl had a seizure that the vet said indicated a brain tumor. We spoiled her for a couple more days and then put her to sleep.

FUCK! You all are killing me. The Wonderdog Vinnie is still going strong at 14 but I know the remaining days are limited. I'm going to be a complete basket case when that last day comes.

True, but you can't eat your wife while dogs are delicious.

The good herr doktor Mengele-Rowe has provided a softball to hit out of the park but out of respect for his short stature and life saving things he do on occasion, I will refrain.
Yeah it's hard to just roll over and ask if I can put it in her ass without offering up something in return.
