Good news is she wasn't hurt, just very pissed off. She was loading groceries into the car and a red Geo pulled up, guy jumps out and takes her purse off the shopping cart while she had her back turned. She turns around screaming bloody murder, banging on the car with her fist(bloody finger). Young woman is the getaway driver. She said she normally puts her purse in the car or has it slung over her shoulder. I told her, he might have pulled it off her shoulder and knocked her down if she'd done that. A Hispanic couple called 911 and the guy ID'd the car model. All wife knew was it was red.
She said it seemed like it was happening in slow motion.

The store video showed at least 3-4 more people were involved in the parking lot as possible lookouts. So far we've done more to track the criminals than the police. She just called the woman officer who's investigating and told her they used CC's at Rite Aid nearby and the times used, and she said, we don't have much luck with Rite Aid. She seems satisfied that my wife got her purse back an hour later with cash and credit cards missing, which we've had to cancel. Her purse was left lying on the ground at a gas station, where they must have filled up two vehicles.

Good thing she wasn't packin'. She might have shot a couple of teenage niggers and been sent to prison for life.

Very glad for her safety.

Keep your eye out for identity theft such as new credit cards you didn't sign up for and such. Might not be a bad idea to sign up for one of those notification services from a credit card company or one of the credit rating agencies.

If she had an assault rifle, that wouldn't have happened. I'm happy she wasn't harmed, surprised that the officer cares as much as she does, and glad that you posted here so we can have some light-hearted fun with the story.

That might be going a little far, but it's unfortunate that she will be suspicious of every little group of spics she sees in a parking lot forever more--she'll likely throw in the brothas for good measure. Given the statistics coupled with her personal experience, who could blame her? Then again, perhaps it's a blessing and she will avoid WalMart altogether.

I'm sorry. Pissed, scared, and powerless are horrible feelings. I'm sure this will get worse over the next couple of days. That's how our gender works. But rightfully so.

I am very sorry that happened to her. My wife once walked into our house as a guy crawled in through a window, but thank God he ran when he saw her.
