READ. They were replaced 9 weeks after the original surgery.
I have a friend here in Ft. Lauderdale who had a similar situation and she looks fantastic. Her family is riddled with cancer and death.

I jest but the doctors in the US seem to like to do a lot of surgeries. Some years ago I was talking to a UK trained Korean Ob-gyn who said that hysterectomies in healthy individuals were a uniquely American thing. Gallbladders, c-sections, tons of neck and back pain - things that don't happen in a lot of the world. Should I have my liver replaced because I have a few uncles who have cirrhosis or would it be better to not become alcoholics like both of them?

That being said, the way she got out in front of the story and dictated the content of the dialogue is admirable - far better than our elected officials are able to do.
