Bodybuilder belly

Why do some bodybuilders have such a huge belly? It's not fat as they have good definition. Example: in a recent video of John Meadows (whose training methodology I do admire) he had not only the biggest (and whitest) smile but the biggest belly. Not all on the stage showed similar profiles, but many seem to be as proud of their front midsection as the are of their lat spread. Any thoughts?

A dude with those legs is most likely gonna be thicker in torso.

In no order:
1. Heavy squats WITH A BELT.
2. GH use.
3. Insulin.
4 Genetics.

My understanding is that with steroids, or maybe GH, there is no differentiation between voluntary and smooth muscle. Consequently, the muscular layer of the small intestine grows as well.
Anyone with better knowledge please correct me if wrong.
