The tiny 24 hour market in my sleepy little farm town has a little bird-house-lookin' book exchange booth. I figured one of these savages could benefit from Sarno's back pain book. Absolutely nailed that good Smartian shit.

Nice.
Years ago, I almost got into a fistfight at work over that book. One of the grumpy old timers was always complaining about his back pain so I suggested he check out Sarno.
He thought I was implying that it was all in his head.

That's one hell of an escalation. I also kicked down a beautiful hardcover edition of Watchmen. I have a small stack ready to go for my 2-4am stoned walks. Everything from Star Wars novels to books on philosophy. I wish there was more I could do to give back to this astonishingly pristine little farm town.

Ronald,
Dunno if you're in the pathway for Monarch butterflies. Had a single milkweed plant on the balcony for a season and netted a couple dozen hatched butterflies. Another small way to help a neighborhood shine brighter. Keep up the good work :)

We don't get any Monarchs this far north, but we have been getting a pretty staggering amount of those big yellow & black tiger swallowtail dudes, which is awesome. I'll just be chillin' in the living room, glance out my window and there's several massive butterflies and a humming bird just doing their thing in my front yard. A far cry from the big cities I grew up in.

You could have some fun, see how long it stays in the birdhouse.
Around here people seem to mostly fill those little libraries up with Ladies Porn - romance novels - and children's books. It's what sits in the middle of the Bell Curve for books I guess.

Oh, the Sarno book was gone within the day. But yeah, you're pretty on point with the rest of the selection. Throw in some Joel Olsten for good measure and pow, something for everyone.

I like to donate goods that are not covered by SNAP. Two are Toilet Paper and feminine hygiene products. Always anonymous donations. I don't want credit for it. I don't need credit for it.
It's an anonymous act of kindness to a random stranger who will never know, only that someone thought outside of the box, met an unmet need and left them a little better off. Taking credit would spoil everything.
I offer it here to inspire others.
