I like the fuck out of it, having become a fan of the original since we ditched cable and went back to airways tv. The old one is your typical mid 70s Brit tv. 1 fucking small studio, like a cheap Soap with some exterior shots in shitty weather ( I mean it's fucking Cornwall, not london!) but still the acting and story came though and I became a fan of Ross Poldark.

Well the new one has already destroyed the old in 2 episodes so far. Great sets great exterior shots in Cornwall and great acting all round.

Aidan Turner is great as Ross Poldark, with Phil Davis, who seems to be in most of the good limy stuff ( Whitechappel, Silk, Hustle, ect) as his shifty servent.

And if you want to stick your dick in UK pussy, well, the ladies do not disappoint! =P~

Oh and there is violence enough to not get bored with all the talking.

The wife and I are enjoying it too. Wow, this version actually has a budget!

My only complaint is that it is made for the 'no attention span generation'. They are cramming 13 episodes of the old show into 7 episodes.

I also didn't know that Warren "Dim" Clarke had died. RIP.

As in cramming 13 of the old ones into 7? Actually don't have too much of a problem with that as the original moves slow. They might cover more territory than the old sereis did.

I flipped when I found out that he was Dim.

He's singing in the rain in heaven!

RIP :-({|=
