Yuichiro Miura held the world speed ski record at one time. In 1970, he went to Everest to ski. This documents his trip. In his 60s he got fat, out of shape, with diabetes.

He turned his life around and climbed Mt Everest at the age of 70 and again at 73. He had 2 heart surgeries and shattered his pelvis and climbed again at the age of 80. His father was skiing Mt Blanc at the age of 98.
