When the first one came out a couple years ago I watched it thrice in week one of it’s release. I blessed the maker and his water. I grabbed my Gom Jabbar relentlessly!

Any of the seven lessons stick out to you?

I'm partial to not relying on "mood" to get me to the gym.

Mood is a funny one. I find it very easy to rationalize doing, and not doing, certain things.

And that flows into the lessons on the Law of the Minimum and the Know Your Purpose.

For example, yesterday I took a bunch of beatings when surfing and it was extremely frustrating. I wasn’t in the mood to cheer for other people — Know Your Purpose — but I did anyways. And although I didn’t get a wave for the last hour, I still came in with a big smile.
