Incredible composure. Good job.

That is actually pure GJJ, that is precisely the clinch we used against a bat or club attack. The guy did a fantastic job.

Pretty remarkable restraint once he got the upper hand. He's been through that a time or ten.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Well done! That's good Ju Jutsu, Jiu Jitsu, Street Wrestling, whatever you call it.

While certainly impressive, it was also pretty stupid. He's lucky the little guy came back with a bat and not a glock.

After the Zimmerman verdict came down, there was all kinds of "neither of them should have gotten into that situation", and "it was dumb for both of them to have engaged."Holy Cow wrote:Well, duh.
That big dumbass stood there on his phone and waited for it.
Am I really pointing out the obvious, or are some of you missing it completely?

Yup. Dude had a car, he could have left any time. If that little dude was better with a bat it could have gone really bad for him.

GTFO, twink. Maybe fatty had a gun, but didn't need it to flex on a bitch. Do you really run away from every conflict? The Ginger Beard Man wrote:While certainly impressive, it was also pretty stupid. He's lucky the little guy came back with a bat and not a glock.

I have done some incredibidly stupid things that were not caught on camera.Fat Cat wrote:GTFO, twink. Maybe fatty had a gun, but didn't need it to flex on a bitch. Stone cold sober, late on a Saturday night, I jumped out of a car on Flatbush Avenue, chased another car down to the red light in the turn lane on Myrtle Ave (still known at the time as Murder Ave), stood in front of said car when the light changed and waited for the cops.
The next day I told the story at work and was told by three guys that I was an idiot.
I really couldn't argue with them.
Doesn't change the fact that fatty was stupid.
Would he have been more or less stupid if he had a gun and waited around, tough guy?

Let me see if I follow you: you are a tough guy, who does tough guy things, criticizing a tough guy, and calling me a tough guy.

So, how do you think your kids and wife would feel if you got yourself shot to death over something as stupid as a verbal argument?Fat Cat wrote:GTFO, twink. Had 'bat guy' been big and 'phone guy' been small, things would have gone differently IMO. The ease with which phone guy moved bat guy towards the car and slammed him into it was obvious.

Re: Baseball Bat in a Street Fight
To be fair, comments on what this guy "should have done" are retarded and made in a void of any knowledge of what the situation was. Maybe little guy had clipped big guys car and big guy was on the phone with cops/insurance trying to get the thing dealt with and little guy freaked out and was trying to intimidate him to not have to deal with consequences. Maybe big guy just slept with little guys wife and got caught and is waiting for his ride to show up so they can leave. Point is no one fucking knows and so claiming he is a retard for getting into a confrontation over a "verbal argument" when you have no idea what the reason behind the confrontation was is just plain dumb. There was an argument but we have no idea why or what it was about, so maybe the fight was over a nothing argument, or maybe it was over something much bigger, we don't know.
