Three in a Porche? Guess your hooked up riding the stick shift. You'll enjoy that I'm sure.

Have a few drinks before hand. That way if he asks you if you want to drive you have a legit reason why you can't drive rather than explain you don't have a driver's license.

Read up on fluffing.

Just quietly know your shit front to back. He invited you along, he'll ask questions so don't sit there blabbing. "I don't know, but I know where to find out" is an OK answer. Some precise, focused questions by you that help you get to the bottom of things in developing your own understanding of what's going on are permitted too, I'd guess. Know that you are "on" the whole time. If he brings up kettlebells, get out of the car even if it is moving.

alright QJ, here's a good one for you:

people like people like themselves. You can fake it by mimicking them. Mimic their energy, their hand movements, their pace, their head movement, their personal space, their tone and volume, etc. It's hard to explain but you are trying to basically reflect them so that their subconscious picks up the subtle vibe that they are dealing with someone who is just like themselves

don't mimic him exactly or you'll look like an asshole, but if he's all laid back and supercool, you be laid back and supercool. If he's a quiet person, you be a quiet person. If he's a loud talker, you be a loud talker. If he's acting like he's all laid back and supercool, and you act like a hyper chihuahua all day, you'll be even more repellant than normal. But if he's all hyped-up superchihuahua, he'll intuitively "like" you more if you match his energy. He'll perceive that you're like him, and people like people like themselves.

that is the physical form of doing what you're already doing by reading up on him. You're (hopefully) trying to figure out what he likes so you can talk to him about those things when the time comes. If he says he likes dog racing, then hopefully you have read up on dog racing and can talk to him. He'll decide he likes you b/c you're like him. Same thing physically.

Also keep in mind though, that he's definitely an Alpha so don't mimic him so hard that he thinks you're an Alpha trying to best him. That only goes well if he's sexually interested in you and thinks you'll be an intense and challenging shag. I'll leave that one up to you.

oh, and fake it till you make it has a lot of validity and I'm not joking. if you're nervous as hell and your palms are sweating and you don't know wtf you're talking about, for god's sakes ACT like you do

Tell him that you just broke your addiction to posting on IGX. And then actually do it.

Proto's advice is excellent.

Climber's advice would be good for most people, but not in your case.

This guy's a rich and successful man and he wants to be associated with people who can make him richer and more successful. The truth is that you can't be sure of exactly what he's looking for at a specific moment, but you can assume that he wants a logical and orderly thinker who can communicate well and will get things done. Construction is about getting things done in a limited amount of time w/o going over budget. Better...faster...cheaper, make it a mantra. If you see an opportunity to exhibit those attributes, take them.

Advice that has never failed in construction is, "walk fast and look worried". If the property you are going to visit is a construction site of some kind, the appropriate attire would include a button down shirt, a pair of nice khakis (black or navy shows the dust), and sensible shoes. Dress it up w/a sport coat if you want. This would be very acceptable attire for a young construction project manager who is on site in the USA or the few other parts of the world where I've seen them.

If you can find out the type of people he's hired and that have succeeded with him, you'll have a great clue as to what to do to "click".

If you can land a high profile, well paying job that occupies all your time and keeps you from posting here, it's a win for all of us. Good luck mate.

Follow-through is important. Look for an opportunity to get back to them with something, and then kill it.

Agree with the button down shirt and khakis.

Don't show up for a construction job with a brand new hammer. Got a weathered, scruffy looking hardhat? Will you need a hardhat the sites you are visiting?

Don't be looking at your phone all the time, or your watch.
MAKE EYE CONTACT, lots of it.

Have fun with it, if you seem really nervous, your body language will be all off.

The guy did time in the joint-- BJ's body language will make it clear he has no problem being a bottom.
Proto is giving excellent advice-- take it.

I've never had a problem in interviews, but I've also never been interviewed with someone this high flying, let alone spent the day with them.

Thanks guys. Sincerely.

And remember he knows you are a college kid. He's looking for potential, not instant mastery right now. Tell him a few stories about banging drunk chicks too.

It's that time of year when you apply for internships and placement years. As well as formally applying to about 40 companies, I've been relentlessly emailing friends and family asking if I could be put in contact with anyone. This was one of the guys I emailed.
