US soldier kills Afghan civilians in Kandahar

A US soldier in Afghanistan has killed 10 civilians and wounded five in Kandahar province after suffering a breakdown, officials say.
He left his military base in the early hours of the morning and opened fire after entering local homes, the BBC's Quentin Sommerville reports from Kabul.
Nato said it was investigating the "deeply regrettable incident".
Anti-US sentiment is already high in Afghanistan after US soldiers burnt copies of the Koran last month.

Their version of court is a bunch of old dudes around a campfire yelling curses at the accused. Their version of a lawyer is the guy who pokes you with a sharp stick to make you uncurl from the fetal position so they can get a better shot while stoning you.
Not nearly as glam as the OJ trial. The news outlets couldn't fill a 24/7 schedule with that, especially factoring in all the prayer breaks.

Shit happens, and nobody who hasn't been in his situation can judge. Yesterday, I almost punched the supervisor from the concessions company when the cash registers at the zoo's food court froze up and I had to wait 10 minutes for them to remember they could figure out my total with a calculator.

Every nation kills it's own, that isn't disputed.
The question here is about how the West conducts itself. Like I alluded to, pissing on the still warm flesh of other human beings, burning Holy books, and apologising for the slaughter of children hasn't, until recently, been a trait of the Enlightened West. We diminish ourselves in this practice.

Actually in these two cases I brought up(Libya and Iraq), Saddam and Ghaddafi kept shit in line. They crushed their enemies, but there wasn't no chaos or offenders would answer to the boss. Then we essentially handed the countries over to these savages(in the case of Libya, we handed it over to Al Quaeda.-Derp), and best of all, neither country had attacked us. LOL

When you start justifying who deserves to die and who doesn't it's a really slippery slope. I'm surprised at you guys. Is this really the best America has to offer? A bunch of dudes spouting futile rage at some people half way around the world they've never even seen much less gotten to know? I'm not some sand-nigger-hugging hippie but I'm also not wishing death on anyone or taking satisfaction in people being killed.
