Eliminate all pedestrian, bicycle, and overall traffic crash fatalities within 10 years.

Every crash with serious injuries or fatalities is something you need to look at and ask, what was wrong here? What should I have done, not the citizen, but what should I have done as a responsible and professional person in the system?

Of course, capital punishment for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol as well as for using your cell phone while driving would probably drop the number 80% overnight.

Lower the speed limit to 15mph and then capital punishment for anyone caught driving even 1mph over the speed limit. Also, anyone stepping foot on a public street or sidewalk must wear one of those blow-up sumo suits. Of course, the jails doing the executing and companies making the sumo suits will all be run by the mayor's fellow Jew cronies. Win-win.

I'm sure that DC's mild winter had little to do with the drop in traffic fatalities.

First step is to fund a private firm(Rom's cousin) with a few billion to do a study.

The problem is their combination of Midwestern and foreign-born drivers. Forbid thopse groups from driving, and you'll be fine.

You really want to reduce traffic accidents to practically zero and limit fatalities? You have to make the driver clearly aware that the risk associated with impaired/unattentive driving will be directly borne by them. How so? You replace the airbag inside the steering column with a sharpened spike that's about six inches long which can not be removed. Any fuckup on the driver's part is going to result in their impalement. Now there's probably going to be a few fatalities here and there but I can assure everyone will be paying attention.

I have a plan similar to Shape's: first impaired/inattentive driving offense - must drive a "Smartcar" for next 3 years; second offense - must drive a Vespa.

you can learn a lot by riding an underpowered two wheeler, i think everyone should be forced to start there...asians should never be allowed to graduate past 250cc dirty bikes.

Instead of getting traffic fatalities to zero, maybe they should try to cut down shootings and murders by the local blacks by 50% or so. Would probably do a hell of a lot more for the city's reputation and economy.

Of course getting white people to obey traffic rules is probably a lot easier than getting black urban yoots to put down their gats.

Exactly. Living as close as I do to Chicago and being its default overflow ghetto, if I was mayor I'd rather deal with the white folks too.
