.....the only alternative to Obama as POTUS is a non-Christian multimillionaire worth $250 million?

Are progressives happy that the only alternative to Romney as POTUS is a war-mongering, wishy-washy millionaire who passes out money like candy to anybody who donated to his campaign?Yes, I'm drunk wrote:.....the only alternative to Obama as POTUS is a non-Christian multimillionaire worth $250 million?

However, it appears that conservatives hate Obama more than they love Jesus.
http://www.mercurynews.com/breaking-new ... -christianIn contrast to Obama, Republican Mitt Romney rarely speaks about his faith, yet Gallup found that 57% of Americans could correctly identify him as a Mormon.
If he was the best person for the job, he wouldn't have run such a half ass campaign. We ended up with Obama instead of Hillary because she made the same mistake.BabaLoo wrote:Are the mainstream Party sheep happy with their two choices of corporate supported dunces?

This is what's happened in the UK too. The main political parties all promote the same 'progressive' policies, informed mainly from niche pressure groups representing gay, feminist and minority racial interests. They're not even distinguished anymore by their approach to fiscal policy: the same tax breaks for the rich, but increasingly higher taxes for the middle class.Alfred_E._Neuman wrote:The corporations and media will do whatever is necessary to keep the status quo so much free press and huge PAC funds go to making sure we think there's a difference between Mitt and Obama and that there's no other alternative to the shit sandwich and giant douche running the country.
He's blacklisted because he's a little too John Edwards for the Republican party.Alfred_E._Neuman wrote:Turdacious wrote:If he was the best person for the job, he wouldn't have run such a half ass campaign. I don't think that he's run a half assed campaign, he just doesn't have the tens of millions of dollars and major corporate media backing to blitz us like the Repubs/Dems do. The corporations and media will do whatever is necessary to keep the status quo so much free press and huge PAC funds go to making sure we think there's a difference between Mitt and Obama and that there's no other alternative to the shit sandwich and giant douche running the country.

I don't think I could point to a single government initiative that's been undertaken in my lifetime that's improved my lot, either financially or socially. From at least 600 MPs currently sitting today, I could count on the fingers of one hand those I think are worthy of being voted for.
Sorry, is it more Sanford than Edwards? He's a piece of shit.BabaLoo wrote:Typical. http://joemonahansnewmexico.blogspot.co ... tscape.pdfFormer Gov. Gary Johnson and his wife, Dee, were New Mexico's first couple for eight years. Now, they're calling it quits. Johnson said this week the couple had been separated since May and
were taking legal steps toward divorce. "I love her. I always will," Johnson said in a phone interview from Hawaii, where he was giving a speech. "We have just grown apart for what I consider a long time. I've been going from one adventure to another and I've been doing it by myself." Johnson, 52, said Tuesday that he initiated the separation and that he has been dating Deborah Werenko of Santa Fe, a family practice physician and divorced mother of three who is also a competitive athlete. Werenko on Wednesday confirmed the two are dating. Dee Johnson, 52, said Gary's actions are responsible for the split." My heart is broken with what Gary's done to me but I'm a survivor and I'll make it through this."

Other than Dennis Skinner and Jon Cruddas, I wouldn't be able to think of anyone else I'd be happy voting for. And that's not even to say I'd endorse these two every time either.baffled wrote:Who would they be?
