Looking for free stock photos

What sites have the best selection of free stock photos these days, while also being easily searchable?
TIA.
TIA.

123rf.com Might work.
Morguefile is a free photo place (sfw, despite the name) that works, but isn't really a "stock" photo place.
SXC.hu, but the licensing may be a little weird.
Google advanced image search, switch your preferences to free to use or modify, commercial use etc. Lots of the images returned will be under the Creative Commons license.
Flickr Creative Commons searches can return quite a bit too. Some are stock photos, others are personal shots licensed for reuse, commercial etc.
No problem. I'll look on my other computer to see if I saved any other image resources. What a duck says wrote:Thank you!baffled wrote:Every Stock Photo may work.

istockphoto has deals floating around - I have gotten a few from buying a particular book or attending a seminar where you get some free downloads. They have a free download of the week as well that I like to grab.baffled wrote:No problem. public-domain-image.com (I think that's it) may also work depending on what you need the images for. I think they appreciate a link, but don't require it, like Morgue File.
You can always license images through Getty, or istockphoto, and some can be had for quite cheap. Others are crazily expensive.
I know the original request was for free stock photos, but sometimes you can get a picture for $3 or so and can often use it for commercial purposes.
