Israel may be sitting on among the largest reserves of gas and shale oil in the world. Here's an interesting discussion:

Maybe now the U.S. will finally pay some attention to Israel.

There was a post about this a couple months back. HH is still a creep. Israel is still likely to take our money and I'm sure they'll overcharge us for whatever energy they've got too.

Hilarious Baff. No amount of rehab or good deeds can rid you of the "creep" moniker.

I'm telling you folks, you want to solve the energy crisis, put Israel and the rest of the middle east back in its rightful place on the bottom of the economic totem pole? Buy batteries. Lots of batteries. Preferably at one of my stores in Omaha. Just don't buy Tadiran batteries, which are made in Israel, as it would defeat the purpose.

Baffled,
The post a few months ago was about the energy reserves. This one is about the geopolitical developments occurring, including Putin's newfound Zionism.
And, no, I'm still not promoting you to first team anti-Jew.

shale oil . . . hmmm
we've got lots of that right here in the you s of a. it cannot be recovered economically, yet. i'd be curious to know what the price per gallon of gas will be when we're relying on shale oil. at that point will carbohydrates (from plant matter, including woody biomass) be the equal of hydrocarbons for making plastics, fuels, and such?
we don't have to drill for oil. we can meet our fuel needs with plant matter. it's just a matter of cost. today, that cost would be too high, but unfortunately market distortions make the cost of oil seem cheaper than it is, in fact, and therefore work to create liquid fuel from carbohydrates probably lags.

The United States has been protecting these money laundering cockroaches ever since we rescued them from the ovens and helped them set-up shop in that arid wilderness that they refer to as “the homeland”. I’ve seen too much of this country’s treasury spent on guaranteeing their purloined position in that festering armpit of the world. In truth, if they had been left to their own devices, the Arabs and the Palestinians would have run them all into the sea long ago with nothing more than thrown pieces of broken off concrete and a few Molotov cocktails for good measure.
But no, we’ve allowed them to spin their yarns of “G-d’s Chosen People” and hypnotized our leaders into believing that it was in our best interest to back their play with solid military support and the occasional bullshit peace treaty brokered on our part in order to maintain the illusion that these sniveling shysters care about anything and anyone but their coffers and their blood kin. And we soothed ourselves with tales of “regional stability” and “protecting America’s interests in the Middle East” in an effort to white wash the fact that we were harboring a racist regime that carried out oppression on a massive scale with nothing more to justify their actions other than their gutter religion and their bullshit rallying cries of “never again”. Yes, without US support they’d have long ago rolled over to suck an Arab or Palestinian dick just to earn the right to draw a few more precious breathes before they were dispatched to the eternal Sheol that they so rightly deserve.
And now we find that the legions of Abraham and his cursed lot sit upon a wealth of energy to rival anything discovered in the history of man. A literal geophysical fountain of light that will power civilization for generations to come and will lubricate the wheels of progress as we journey into an ever brighter future. And who will benefit the most from this fortuitous discovery? Will it be the United States of America…that monolith of freedom and righteousness…the liberator that snatched so many hook nosed rats from the German furnaces oh so many decades ago…that protector who provided succor and security to those same sniveling and scurrying cowards who would not raise so much as a finger in their own defense unless it involved running over defenseless Palestinian school children in tanks and armored vehicles? Will we finally see a dividend after all these years of placing our bets behind that lurid cabal of sneak thieves and money changers?
Well, fuck no…I say they’ll whore the lode to the highest bidder…most likely the Russians or the goddamned Chinkies by my own reckoning. Old Uncle Sam will see no return on his investment, no sir. We’ll be told to get in line with the rest of the bums as we shuffle along to find our place at the table. In truth, that lode of energy that lies beneath that accursed land is rightfully ours as no filthy Jew would have a single defensible claim to it if they had not found free shade under the iron fist of America’s might and wealth. And as we stand at the crossroads of history we’ll soon find out where we rank with our “friends” in Tel Aviv…just another nigger to be sucked dry and exploited by the human race’s equivalent of the Remora fish.

Kaz - the 1930s Ku Klux Klan called. They say they miss you, ask when you're coming back and they said to tell you that it's ok to be gay "provided it's done as part of a ceremony"(?)
