"The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the present
Monthly Fee of$96.40, rising to:
$104.20 in 2012
$120.20 in 2013
And
$247.00 in 2014."
These are Provisions incorporated in the Obamacare Legislation, purposelydelayed so as not to confuse the 2012 Re-Election Campaigns.

Probably because the doctor and hospital is nearby. But I can do the VA for free if I drive 100+ miles to Ann Arbor.

It's a shame they're not going up. The average Medicare recipient is wealthier than the average worker paying into Medicare.

It isn't 2014 yet I don't think. I'm paying what the "chain letter" says for 2012. What are you paying?
Shaf, I know the make shift, limited service VA in Saginaw is closer. Been there. Done that. I live in Mt Pleasant. I said VA in Ann Arbor. My doctor and hospital arr 4 blocks from me now.

Major health insurers say a growing number of rate increases are tied to physician-practice acquisitions. The elevated prices also affect employers, many of which pay for their workers' coverage. A federal watchdog agency said doctor tie-ups are likely resulting in higher Medicare spending as well, because the program pays more for some services performed in a hospital facility.

The health care market is moving quickly (partially as an adaptation to Obamacare), and Obamacare isn't even close to fully implemented. I doubt any of the major cost projections for the next few years are accurate-- for any type of heath care.

Oh stop it already dumbass. All those numbers from either source are bullshit. I know what they take out of my SS check monthly now and I've been in the system for 14 years. It's subject to change any time they fuckin' feel like increasing it and it never goes down.
