In 2010, Inge Wegge and Jørn Ranum spent 9 months above the Arctic Circle surfing, snowboarding, and subsisting in a cabin they built of driftwood, stone, and sea debris. Here's a trailer..

If you dress out an adult seal and just eat the meat it yields 3800 calories.

If you eat the entire thing, including organs and blubber it will yield 65,000 calories.

There's good eating on one of those.
