My sentators are Inhofe and Coburn. Both are notorious right wing christian conservative nutbags and Inhofe is one of the main climate change doubters in the Senate.

My reps are all republicans as well. We are as about as red as a red state can get so I doubt I need to encourage any of them to vote against any gun control legislation.

This state is, I think, getting more polarized.

There is no real middle ground on any of the issues. Labor, taxes, gun legislation, property rights etc.

Well right now I've got John Kerry and Chief Elizabeth Warren who recently beat out one of the most bipartisan, non-nutjob replublicans, Scott Brown.

What I'm really looking forward to is Kerry becoming Secretary of State so we can have Barney Frank appointed by Cadillac Deval as the interim senator.

I listen to Adam Carolla's podcast all the time and even if he is half right California is going to have to do something serious or go completely to shit.

I know little to nothing about the mayor of Tulsa other than he got my local boss into a bit of trouble over blocking crossings. It was pretty funny.

And what's worse, is that we elected the same league of retards who got us into this shit. Instead of cutting, they continue growing. Everything. Taxes. Regulations. Stupid fucking policies.

And the Republicans in this state have gone so far to shit that I think she ran unopposed in '12.

My upstate Dem state senator also ran unopposed, I wrote to both Schumer and Gillibrand regarding forthcoming gun control legislation in the infinitesimal hope that it might do some good. The end result is that they are probably more than willing to blithely turn hundreds of thousands (millions?) of Americans into felons at the stroke of Obama's pen.

Ha! Not only do I have the same peawit senators, I also live in Carolyn McCarthy's district. She'd confiscate nail guns if she could. I hear she may want to ban straws in schools so kids couldn't shoot spitballs.

She didn't run unopposed but she walloped the other woman who was running who was running on some pro-war anti-abortion not-much-else platform. Both of them seemed like nuts.

Chuck Schumer spoke at my college graduation...it was bad.

It's almost like neither party is serious about fixing big problems.
