Any of you lie men have any knowledge about this piece of gear?
The only way I can bike and live in my 'hood is indoors.
Alfred might know a bit about this since he is a bike mechanic.

I like them alot. Quality is high. Set-up seemed easier than with a standard trainer with the one we used. And there's no wear and tear on your rear wheel/tire like in a standard trainer. The drawback for me was that it's a wind trainer which means it's pretty loud.
My vote for best trainers goes to either the Cyclops Fluid 2 (which I have), or their magnetic trainer. Both are quiet and will take as much power as any mortal can put out. I actually much prefer using rollers over the stationary trainer.
I know Lemond just started a new company to sell his trainer. There's an article about it here:

I have a cycleops fluid trainer. Don't know if it is a #1 or #2. It works fine, but you don't get
any objective feedback of your ride like miles, watts, etc.

I second using rollers for indoor riding.
