One of the guys he was modeled after... Sidney Reilly

"Reilly, Ace of Spies" was an awesome series I watched on PBS's Masterpiece Theater back in the mid 80's. The book was a great read too. He actually put together a plan, if I remember it correctly, to overthrow the Bolshevik's at the end of WW1 with the help of the British. Then at the last minute the British bailed. Very interesting fellow.

That was a very great series.

I remember watching it in the late 80s with my dad. Great show. Sam Neil.
