At least, they're not this bad yet: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-22289368
Teachers incensed by sweeping education reforms have attacked the buildings of political parties in Mexico's south-western Guerrero state.

For several hours, masked protesters started fires and attacked the offices with pickaxes and sticks, spraying slogans on the walls.

The state governor has called for support from the federal government.

The reforms impose centralised teacher assessment and seek to end corrupt practices in the education system.

Those practices include the buying and selling of teaching positions.

Please, that kind of stuff in Mexico is the equivalent of a "strongly worded social networking post" in the rest of the world.

Sure, when it comes from the cartels burning everyone alive in a casino.

Or vigilante "civilian peacekeepers" (which seem to be involved here).

Teachers though. If I knew it was that lucrative to be a teacher in Mexico, I would have gone down there instead of just not using my university degree. At all.

If I knew I could rage and protest at not being allowed to sell my job... I would have actually improved upon my once-just shy of fluent Spanish.
