Various bullet types/sizes split in half. Pretty neat, actually, even for us libby-lib-vaginas.

Cool visual, but is there a way of knowing exactly the bullet types are? I'm not a gun expert.

Don't know the first one from the left but it could be depleted Uranium due to the plum color of the metal. 2nd is a SPIW (Special Purpose Individual Weapon) Flechette round - didn't pan out. The last one is a multiple round. Aka "Triplex".
Here is a brief vid of a Duplex working in gelatin

First one looks like a form of Glaser safety slug. Much more devastating than the "black talon".

Amongst the rest is a FMJ pistol round and what looks like an old school rimmed round with lead bullet.

Andreas Grabinsky discusses gun trauma. It's ugly.

I think it is clear that Gene is a gun guy; thanks for the information, as a math & physics nerd those videos are amazing.
I'm watching the Dr. video, now.

That video was awesome, nice little overview of handgun impacts and trauma practices.
I heard him mention Harborview and looked him up: he is indeed a doc at UW/Hbv. That's a pretty neat facility, I've been in one of the UW facilities but never in the trauma/ER area.
