For those that don't follow "gun nuts"...Kokesh is a very outspoken Iraq veteran and gun rights activist who has randomly hit several of the right buttons. Piglets and Prosecutors do not like having their buttons pushed.

Police searched the Northern Virginia home of activist Adam Kokesh Tuesday evening and took him into custody for allegedly being in possession of hallucinogenic mushroom while also having a gun, authorities said.

Kokesh, a former Marine, was held overnight at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, charged with possession of schedule I or II drugs while in possession of a firearm, said Lt. Steve Elbert, a spokesman for the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office.

In reality, Kokesh is a shameless self promoter who hurts the gun rights cause.

Kokesh indeed does seem to have a screw, or several, loose. He's also right about a lot, while somehow managing to hurt the causes he's involved in.

He did make a bunch of Obama voters look like high functioning retards in a video a while back though.

Libertarians need more Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Justin Amash and Mike Lee types with fewer Kokesh, and Wayne Allyn Root bombastic retards.

Kokesh is a dangerous idiot, he odes have some good points here and there but he's a lose cannon in the original sense. If you go along with him and stand on the deck he'll get you hurt.

Kokesh is interesting in that, when I listen to him, I find myself agreeing with about 85% of what he says. The other 15% is batshit crazy though.

If you couldn't get behind a Rand Paul/Justin Amash ticket, I don't know what to say. Of course, neither party would let either of them near the top of their ticket and they couldn't come close to the $3b that is needed for a national run so we need to settle for them being where they are.
