Police in Michigan have broken up a shocking 'drug-fueled orgy' being hosted at a secretive Masonic Lodge - and this wasn't the first time it's happened, authorities warn.
Officers were called to the prominent building in downtown Battle Creek, Michigan - which sits across a park from police headquarters - about 2.15am Sunday. They found five women dancing on stage naked.
They also reportedly discovered a couple having sex in the lodge and several men standing around filming the action.

Aw c'mon! If you can't get loaded and bang strippers/hookers at wild parties, what's the point of being in a secret society!?
Shit, what'd be the point of living at all?

Good luck Shaf.
Call Dux if you need bail money, he's got almost $2,000 in cash.

I'm one, for what it's worth. Wouldn't happen down here. The old guys in our Lodge can barely manage a pancake breakfast, much less a drug-orgy.
I know of some Lodges up north that have rented temple space out to groups like the Illuminates of Thanateros and other ritual groups in occasion.

Wouldn't have happened at my Lodge in MD either for pretty much those same reasons LOL Below the old mason/dixon line, A.F. & A.M. are mostly conservative, old bucks who couldn't manage a thing like that even if they wanted to.

My great-uncle was the top dog at his lodge, I think. Doubt they would have done anything there either.
Sounds like these old chaps were a little more wound up than your average member.

You can't trust Brit tabloids. Headline is misleading. Someone rented the space for an swingers party. The truth is not as funny as a drug-fueled orgy of Masons.
The Battle Creek Freemasons refused to comment on camera for the TV station, but insisted that the orgy was not part of the secret society's rituals. They said the party was not sponsored by their group at all.
'Charlie' a Freemason spokesman, said the man renting the lodge told the Freemasons he would be hosting a dance party.
The Freemasons said they checked on the party about 1am on Sunday and found nothing suspicious.

I got all my old boy's club craziness out of my system in college. Several of my frat brothers didn't, and went on to become masons.
I will say, and no disrespect to you Ancient and Accepted, all the older masons I've known have all liked to have a good time, and typically prefer their Scotch to be older than their prostitutes.
Aren't the Shriners famous for having crazy wild times at their conventions?
