I'm struggling to find something decent to watch. I'm into the usual IGX approved stuff i.e. Breaking Bad, The Wire, Sons, Homeland etc etc
Any less obvious stuff I may be missing?

Well, this may be the etc etc but Justified is good.

Gunsmoke reruns. Bonanza is okay too but Gunsmoke is better.

Walking Dead is the only scripted show that I watch.

Right now I'm watching World Strongest Man 2012 for about the 11th time.

I forgot Archer which is an awesomely done animated knockoff of cold war spy movies. No socially redeeming qualities of any kind.

I actually did away with cable and either watch movies on Netflix or get tv shows by the season. I'm currently watching breaking bad from the beginning, dexter from the beginning, the walking dead from the beginning, season 4 of sons. I still get NBC and the CW so I watch law and order svu, Chicago fire, dateline, and reruns of community and rules of engagement. I will watch arrow if I'm bored as well.

The Wire is required viewing if you've never seen it.

Justified isn't The Wire or Breaking Bad but it's several steps above the usual cop show.

The Shield is great but looks pretty shitty on a big-screen via Amazon Prime since it was mostly shot before HD was the television norm.

The HBO golden age run is great - Oz, Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Rome, Generation Kill. Too bad it all went to hell when Sexy Southern Vampires got better ratings than all of them.
