Watched his new HBO show w/ Woody Harrelson, True Detective. Not sure the show is going to be good but McConaughey is fantastic. He was also the best non-titty part of Wolf of Wall Street.

Kaz (or anyone), did you see the movie the Paperboy with McConaughey (wow that is hard to spell)?
I think his character in that movie would leave you pleased.

Agreed. Caught this whilst on travel. Harrelson wasn't bad either, but McConaughey makes him look like a rank amateur.

But, that said, the high point of the show was the closing scene, where McC said, "

Watched Eps 1 and 2 of True Detective on HBOGo because of this thread... This show is some bad-ass storytellin'. Both McConaughey and Harrelson are genius in this one, particularly compared to all the other shit that passes as 'entertainment' these days.

It's pretty interesting now many chances television takes these days, while the film industry keeps on cranking out bullshit reboots and sequels.

Okay. I really thought you were like an Apache relishing the long drawn out torture he was preparing to inflict on a captured cowboy.
I never cared much for Jon Cusack, but he was good in that movie.
