I remember it well. Buran (translated as snow storm from Russian) was the Soviet response to the American space shuttle. It was considerably larger, in keeping withe "Soviet is the biggest". However, the project stretched the resources to the point that the first launch became the last.

That's why the controls of this aircraft are looking so outdated - they are made in old Soviet style. I bet they get stuck from time to time and you have to tap the glass to get them working again.
