All it takes is one bad judge to foul up a verdict.davidc wrote:I have tried over 150 jury trials to verdict.

The system isn't perfect...but I do not know of a better one.
I have tried 33 cases. I do civil defense work. And that's considered a lot of trials in 20 years among my colleagues. Love the jury system. I would not change a thing either.Bob Wildes wrote:All it takes is one bad judge to foul up a verdict.davidc wrote:I have tried over 150 jury trials to verdict.

Thanks. I once tried thirteen major jury trials in a year. That was tough.Really Big Strong Guy wrote:I have tried 33 cases. I do civil defense work. Bad Judges can lead to a bad result. That is what the appellate system is for; and I've honestly never had to appeal anything that was done at a case I tried. But I have appealed plenty of judges' rulings before mediation in other cases.
I cannot imagine if I had done 150. Wow. Respect.
