Sets a new standard for realistic gore in a war film.
Jesus H Christ it's fucking VIOLENT.

It's the cinematic equivalent of Slayer's Reighn in Blood!

The Burmese soldier standing on a child my kids age and bayoneting him in the stomach was the only thing that was hard to take.
Thing is there are ragheads who would do that to my kids.

Anyways, when Rambo starts slaying soldiers, your totally behind him.

John Rambo and John Browning make a Hell of a team=)

In the bonus features of the DVD they said they wanted to be firing the M2 from the hip but couldn't work out how to do it #-o

Digital imagery, but then we would all call bullshit.
What makes that scene plausable is that he is behind the armour sheilding on the gun , so the Burmease soldiers could not get a round into him.

That is brilliance: using plausible to describe anything about John Rambo.

Thank you.

Not a single man could land anything better then a graze to the shoulder?
That's plausable? LOL.

You know Audy Murphey did the same thing on a burning tank, got a Medal of Honor doing it?

I said plausable, not likely.

Dick Meadows was one of Jim Tirey's Ranger school Instructors.

It's a kick to watch To Hell and Back. or Red Badge of Courage and see a real war hero play a war hero.

John Rambo is a sold B movie. Good story, but he could have developed the characters and their motivations better.

My only big gripe is the very loose concept of ballistics and the effects of rifle rounds on the human body. Several scenes showing a sniper blowing Burmese troops away, with the energy of the rounds propelling the dead Burmese troops 8 to 10 feet, was comical.

It was funny to see them do The A-Team flip when hit with a Barret, when they should stay put but loose huge chunks of meat in the process.

Probably some of the best representations of what goes on in 3rd world hell holes. If you are unarmed and at the mercy of your enemies, expect your crops to burned; your children's heads bashed in or raped; your property destroyed or looted; your women and or children being gang raped; and those unlucky to have survived get to live as slaves.

People living in the West are living in a fantasy world. They believe they are immune from such evils or worse; they can buy off or negotiate with such vermin in other parts of the globe.

In the Mad Max future an unarmed man is a slave or food.
The more Liberal thios country becomes, the more of a chance we have of a Mad Max future.
Our enemeis are not going to say "Gee the US has changed their ways and are no longerr all powerfull. They love us now so we should recipercate." No thgey will exploit our weakness as they are allready doing with the hope of the Feelgooders, Progresives (If it aint broke dont fuck with it.) and the out right traitors.
History shows what weakness invites, especially if you were once strong, look at Rome.
