Never Back Down

Rented the "Extended Beatdown Unrated Edition". Whatever.

It was much better than I expected. The back cover description nails it...a cross between Fight Club, Karate Kid, and The OC.

Djimon Hansou (ultra buff black guy from Amistad, Gladiator, etc) saves the whole thing as the "Mr. Miyagi" character. The lead actor is a mannequin from Hollister, Aeropostale, etc. The little shit who plays the villain does a great job...anytime they can make you hate them they've succeeded.

It's pure entertainment (don't expect Citizen Kane), and it does it's job. The MMA fights and training sequences were surprisingly well choreagraphed even though they tried a little too hard to make it EXTREME.

WTF, no report on hotties getting naked?

That's the true test of a good movie; hot chicks getting naked.

Bunch of slack Jawed faggots shouldn't be allowed to post movie reviews if they aren't going top get to the important shit!

Nobody jumped off of anything Bolt & Pappy style.

In the 'EXTREME BEATDOWN" edition Director's Cut deal that I watched...there was a brief party scene where two naked chicks are making out in a bubble bath. Other than that, some hot chicks in bikinis here and there.

The main guy's girl friend is a nice piece of ass if you're into that "future trophy wife in Orange County" look.

The movie made me want to kill the director, producer, & guys who financed the film.
I hate them.

Based on your def. of a good movie, the first half of Hostel gets two thumbs up.
