Movies you can watch repeatedly...and not.

Questions:
What movies can you watch over and over and over ?
What movies, notwithstanding being good, can you not watch again ?
Background:
When I channel surf, I notice that there are movies I enjoy watching (usually portions of,) an endless number of times. The Godfather movies (I & II) have been shown on Bravo more often than an Ab-Device informercial. Still, whenever I come upon them, no matter which part of the movie is on, I can get right into watching and enjoying it. Same sort of thing with Braveheart, for example, which I've seen parts of > than a dozen times. Recently, The Fugitive (Harrison Ford,) has been showing frequently and I've had a similar reaction.
Yet, there are some movies that, while I have enjoyed them initially, I somehow can't bring myself to watch again, usually because the story, ( which I already know,) is too disturbing. For example, Ransom, (Mel Gibson,) while a good movie, somehow got me too wound up because the idea of my kid(s) being kidnapped is just too disturbing. Similarly, Life is Beautiful (Roberto Begnini - sp?) which I thought was a great movie, I wouldn't want to watch again because I find the end to be too much of a downer. [ Sort of a reverse of Ransom, in LIB, instead of parent losing child, child loses....well, you can guess.] Convincing depictions of that sort of stuff I just take a pass on.

]
BTW, I am NOT talking about movies you would not watch again because they simply suck.
What movies are on your lists ?

Over and over:
Team America
V for Vendetta
Napoleon Dynamite
Snatch
Won't ever watch again:
Marley and Me. If you've ever had to put a dog to sleep from old age stuff, you don't need to bother watching this one to the end. My wife rented it, the end was tough for me as I was present for my first ever dog's "passing" at about age 12, so it hit a soft spot I'd rather not again.

American Beauty.
Every time I see it on TV, even though I have the DVD, no matter the part, I watch.

So true. Everything you need to know about life you can learn from those two movies.
Couple of other movies I watch over and over. Comfort food...
- Overboard (Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell)
- Bronco Billy (Clint Eastwood)
I don't watch Saving Private Ryan, especially the scene with the knife fight between the German and our guy that the German wins.

Y'see Nafod, that's what I'm talking about, scenes like the one you mentioned in Private Ryan. I can watch Rambo's incredibly graphic depictions of people being blown in half thinking, "Cool!" but when a scene like the one you described is coming up, I have to turn the channel.

Tender Mercies, with Robert Duvall. Like, nothing happens in it, but I still like it.

The Sword of Doom. (see sig.) I'm kind of obsessed with that movie. It's a very dark samurai flick and has the best ending in movie history.
I can also watch Downfall over and over again. (I guess y'all can too since everyone makes fun of the bunker scenes on youtube.) The guys who made that film really just hit it out of the park as far as historical detail goes. They just said, 'fuck politics, this is what happened.'
It's not really a movie, but every time Alone in the Wilderness comes on PBS I end up watching it again. It's kind of like meditating I guess.
