Let Me In

It was... okay. It was odd watching it since it follows the original "Let The Right One In" almost scene for scene, yet somehow it's less effective.
BIG FAT SPOILER SPACE
It was "well made" but LTROI was just more disturbing. The girl in the original came across as much more creepy w/o the overdone vampire eyes and stuff. And the boy in the original was more of an innocent, so it made his change into the girl's keeper even more of a shift.
The last scene in the pool didn't work as well. In the original it was much better lit, and somehow that made it MORE effective, because what you saw was completely inexplicable and shocking. Here the darkness didn't really help: interesting to see a horror movie where more lighting made it more scary instead of less so.
