Books are pretty good too. The ones that have Guillermo Del Toro's name on the cover are about 1/2 of the ones without on Amazon for Kindle.

Series started good (the books) but I was "meh" by the end. I don't think I finished the last one.

I'm slogging through the last one now and it's a noticeable drop from 1&2.

Bummer, Shaf and I differ on a few things but his opinions on books sometimes matches mine.

It's been a while, but it was kind of like bouncing the rubble by book 3

This show is a good one.
Given the two shitty comedies and the abortion that is Tyrant, FX needed a good one.

2nd half of the 3rd book picked up. Should be some good visuals if the TV show follows the books.

Never read the books. The show is pretty decent so far.

Read the books. Not bad. At times it seems like the wheels are coming off but then it tightens up. Ending is good and is fairly rapid after the middle of book 3.
