I received one of these in the mail yesterday; I have no idea why. I offered it to my sweetie for shaving her lamington, but she said no. So I tried it.

It has 5 (5!!!) blades on one side of the head. Because that gives it a half-inch width and makes it awkward to use unless your entire head and face is smooth and spherical, there's also one blade on the backside.

For shaving flat or convex parts of the face, it worked okay, although my heavy bristles tended to clog it; there are narrow spaces between the blades.

I had to use the single blade for all indents, like under my nose, under my lower lip, and the hollows under my manly, rugged jawline. In those places it didn't shave any better or smoother than my straight razor or Merkur double-edge.

I assume the replacement blades cost a mint, but I won't be finding out. This is a really stupid product IMO.

Yeah, the Fusion sucks. The battery feature turns it into a vibrator which may have some uses I have not yet explored, but it doesn't do anything to help you shave.
Mach 3 is forever the best cheater razor.

The one I got did not take batteries. That would make it even more stupidly.

First it was 2 blades, then 3, then 4, now 5, I can't wait till the 8 blader comes out.

Nothing like taking a pretty simple item and making it fancier and worthless. Stupid fucks.

My piece of shit Braun electric razor got dropped and then it started fucking turning off whenever it was turned upside down.

I shave my head with it, so that made it useless. I picked up a pack of cheap three blade disposables with some Fusion gel, and after about a week of shaving, it's starting to work well.

I might to to the headblade, or might now.

did you notice the one blade on the back of it? i thought it was a good shave but totally overpriced blades. incidently the blade on the back is for the sideburns/boards (whatever), and near your nose/lip.
Good but pricey blades imo.

Um, please note the repeated use of the term "single blade" in my original post. I even had to use it under my jawline because the quintuple-head was too wide.

i like the mach 3's BUT i have noticed that a good shaving cream(i use kiel's) and cheap razor provides a much closer shave that a 3 or 4 blade razor with cheap shaving cream.
