Don't get me wrong. I'm a friend to wild and domestic animals alike, and I'm all for helping out when I can if I can do it responsibly.
But I gotta draw the line at adopting wild grizzly bears and letting them into my home, letting them play with the kids, inviting them to my fucking wedding.... That's just a stupid fucking idea and a whole bunch of really fucking messy accidents just waiting to happen! I mean Jesus Christ what if he shits in the pool!!??
He must be a believer that environment has the biggest effect on a bear's actions.
Good for him if he is correct.
I'm 'gonna' put my money on genes are by far the biggest determinant on the bears ultimate
actions. I'll play a sad fiddle dirge at his upcoming misfortune.
What amazes me is that he found a woman who didn't go all Bridezilla when the subject of letting a grizzly bear be a groomsman came up! From the looks of the bystanders in a few of the pictures it seems like everybody this dude knows is comfortable with the arrangement.

She's at more risk than him. Bear gets jealous. Rips off her face. Remorse irrelevant. She is all over the interwebz and bear gets put down. Sad story.

Bad news for Jehovah's Witnesses, that's for sure.

The Timothy Treadwell documentary surely put an end to this kind of silliness... Big animals tolerate humans as loong as they are well fed. When they get hungry then humans = food. Top quote from the doc; "In my experience bears will eat their own young so they can fornicate again". Top idea, bears.

Not if he calls for booty calls at 2AM CST he isn't.
