Immigration and Alabama

Post by syaigh »

I listened to Act II of this episode earlier today. Really interesting and the ending is not what you'd expect. Give it a listen if you're interested in understanding some of the dynamics of undocumented workers in a formerly mostly white town and how they learn to get along. Best quote was, "We wanted workers, we got people instead."

Could you check to if any of "vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “diversity,” “transgender,” “fetus,” “evidence-based” or “science-based” are used in that episode?
Don’t believe everything you think.

No transgender fetuses as far as I know and I don't know if anyone was free-basing. But there may have been some talk about brothels and drug cartels which falls under "diversity" so, my apologies if you were triggered and couldn't find a safe space.

That sent me down a rabbit hole.

I likes some Hick Hop. The Lacs and Moccasin Creek I've seen. Moonshine Bandits soon.
