Around here we call that "tactical". Get with the program.

Greg Henger, Coach Pain from discus camp was the man who introduced Dan to the slosh pipe.

Grisly old guy from West Virginia who is a strong fucker.

Loubar needs no introduction. He is a legend at P&B.

Didn't take @fit long to get Sears on the record contradicting Robb Wolf about the need to weigh and measure your paleo foods to be in teh zones.

I'm sure some dude scavenging 50,000 years ago wouldn't think of eating those berries he found unless he could rustle up some fat and protien to balance it out. And no fucking way would he gorge himself when the rare opportunity arose.

Just when you thought @ssfit's credibility was at an all time low...

I was not aware that the paleo diet said "just eat all the ribs you can stand all the time"

I love it when learned people do that "cough of authority thing", inflamed much Dr. Se@rs?

stop your slanderousness!!! teh couch is developing an elite diet composed of a perfect balance of several liquid fuels. his integrity is such that he must thoroughly test it on himself before allowing it to revolutionize elite athlete's diets across broad food groups and noodle domains.
have you ever been as far as even considered go want to do look more like?

So Bony Pudding is taking the fight to the intrawebz, eh? Hey, let's go ask "Dr." Sears a bunch of loaded questions with misstated "facts," and get his reaction.
Christ, the lack of respect for the sheeple following @fit is astounding. Also, liked that T-shirt, Bony. Isn't his lover Castro from Aromas?

Sometimes I think the folks who really run @fit do this shit on purpose to keep the Couch Thread stoked. Good work!

Coach invented flex-fuel. He's been running on E85 and grease for years.

Injuring the injured:
Well after getting some improvement already on my wrist (thanks steven!) - I think I may have injured my shoulder.. I'm not sure exactly what caused it but most likely the lifting in cold whether without warming up. Stupid stupid stupid.

http://www.atlanticsoftware.nl/otto/...1-shoulder.JPG (WFS)

In the above pic its around the AC joint area where if I move my arm backwards (imagine a chest fly movement backover) I feel a pinching pain around that area and almost if something is going 'tight', not constantly and I wouldnt say a severe pain, but it hurts. Ive taken to icing it in the evenings, I've rested since. Have done light shoulder rotations and band dislocations.. but not sure what to do from there.
And maybe a new rhabdo?
Pullups / Shoulders
So I hadn't had any problems with pull ups for a while (last year there was some tendinitis in my forearms) and then I completed Angie a few weeks ago. Since then, I have barely been able to complete pull ups. There is zero pain or soreness (that was all gone in the first week). I get up on the bar and feel like I just can't move. It feels like it's coming from my shoulders... but I'm not sure. I'm thinking it didn't help that I didn't do anything for 7 days after Angie, which probably made me even more sore (I couldn't extend my arms for the full week).

I'm back on the workouts but am having all this trouble in the pullup arena.

Suggestions, help ideas?

Much appreciated,

Jack

You gotta love a system for producing elite athleticals that leaves all of it's participants too injured to train.

Reminds me of old eastern block training for cycling before the iron curtain fell. I've read horror stories about huge mileage and intensity, and anyone who couldn't hack it was dropped back to factory life. Washout rate was astronmical, but those who survived were physically and mentally tougher than any competition they'd face on the track or the road.

Maybe that's cooch's genious plan. Those left standing after this ridiculousness will be his new master race.

I have a real seething hate for Barry Sears. I don't know shit about his diet (except that following it should be grounds for an ass beating), I just wanted to punch my fucking computer screen when I watched that bullshit video.
Paleo and Zone both=gayness.
Just.eat.food.
Fuck your bullshit "dieting". Men who follow a "diet" are metrosexual punching bags.

Dear Drs Se@rs and Cooch,

I went to Vegas last month for a 3 day weekend, but I forgot my scale.
Instead of risking a toxic insulin reponse, I just fasted and drank gin (on the rocks) at the craps table.
Thanks for your support and guidance.
I am so excited, my ab reveal now also shows an outline of my internal organs.
I am so totally stoked :supz:!

Bullshit, a real @fitter NEVER leaves town without scales!
Congrats on staying paleo in Vegas, though.

Hm, a serious Star Wars geek of my acquaintance sez that was the Empire's plan after they abandoned clones for regular Stormtroopers. Recruit 10 million, kill 7-8 million in training but the survivors were mean as hell.
